Steve Mack

Steve has a Masters Degree in education (Psych). Steve taught high school for 9 years where his main interests were school counselling and sports coaching. Steve has been in private practice as an educational psychologist for over 30 years. He previously worked for the Natal Education Department as an educational psychologist.

His areas of special interest are:

• All aspects of education and development.

• Development of people of all ages.

• Relationships, both family and couples.

Steve has been together with his wife Francie as a couple for 53 years and they have been married for 46 years. They have two grown up children, and two grandchildren.

Steve was the chairman of a trust that ran the IKUSASA cooking school and registered charity for a number of years. The school used to run out of St. Martin’s Children Home of which Steve was an active board member. The school trained 10 young chefs a year who met various requirements, one of which was a means test. Steve was the Dean of the International Hotel School of which his involvement in the IHS expanded over 20 years.

Steve’s personal interests include cooking as a hobby, as well as fishing, both Rock & Surf and Fly Fishing.
